Siemens Electrium is a UK based manufacturer of electrical installation equipment, supplying a range of products under the Siemens brand to professional installers and specifiers. The Electrium is, in fact, a subsidiary of the Siemens Group who are currently leading the way in terms large scale commitments to carbon neutrality. The Siemens Group have set a clear signal that companies must take leadership in driving decarbonisation. They have made firm commitments to become carbon neutral throughout all Siemens’ production facilities by 2030. Inspired by the commitments of its parent company, Electrium decided to take action through the help of Energy Gain UK.  

Following the installation of a 120 kWp solar photovoltaic system, the Electrium has reduced its annual Scope 2 output by 23 tCO2. Additionally, the system will reduce their annual electricity bill by 97,200 units (kWh) providing substantial savings and allowing them to remain a competitive supplier and manufacturer of Siemens products.
