Commercial Solar FAQ
What is the purpose of this calculator?
This Commercial Solar Savings Calculator is designed to inform you on the costs and returns of a photovoltaic installation. Using general information from your business we can accurately estimate a wide variety of values to help you decide what the best solar solution for you is.
While accurate, the values shown here are only estimates and are subject to change after further reviews. This calculator is just the first step towards understanding how much solar could save you on your companies energy bills and carbon emissions.
What happens after I send my request?
Once you’ve filled in the email box with your business email address, a member of our sales team will review the details you’ve sent to us and reach out within 3 business days with some questions. This will help us to better understand your wants and needs from a solar installation.
These additional details will then be put into a comprehensive remote report where we assess your business from all available virtual sources and advise what the correct solution for your business is, all completely free of charge.
If the solutions and figures that we’ve advised for you are what you want, then we can begin our process to getting you a brand new solar panel setup. More details about our process can be found on the ‘Our Process’ page
Are these values accurate?
These values are accurate estimations based on average Solar Irradiance data for the Greater Manchester area where we’re situated. The dataset used for our irradiance data is linked in the ‘assumptions’ section at the end of the calculator.

How long does a typical photovoltaic installation take?
The time taken for the works to complete is dependant on a number of key factors, primarily the size of the system to be installed and the type of roof being worked on. We are thorough with our feasibility reports and assessments of every site that we visit to ensure the least impact to the operation of a business, and aim to complete all work in the shortest, safest time-frame possible.
