Situated on a 7 acre site in Trafford Park, Manchester, we have a nationwide client base whose delivery requirements are met by our own transport fleet who deliver daily and our 150,000 square feet of warehousing, enabling us to stock, machine, treat and finish a wide range of hardwood and softwood timbers.

Illingworth Ingham (M/cr) Ltd branches are conveniently situated around the North West. Each branch has highly experienced, knowledgeable staff members who can offer valuable advice. Each carry extensive stocks to meet the needs of local builders and joiners, as well as DIY requirements of local residents.

This also prompted the arrival of the company’s first two employees and the naming of the business as V. R. Brooks (Stockport) Ltd.

Further expansion lead to the manufacture of bespoke gears and a second business, Stockport Gears Supplies Ltd, was formed.
