The Home Insulation & Energy Systems Contractors Scheme (HIES) is a consumer protection organisation regulating installers operating in the eco, renewable and home insulation sectors. HIES is dedicated to ensuring consumers are protected and have peace of mind and ensures comprehensive consumer protection comes as standard. HIES services are completely free of charge to consumers.

As accredited members of HIES all of our ‘FITs’ generated products will be MCS registered
 
As accredited members of HIES we are continually vetted in many areas in order to help ensure consumers are satisfied.
All customers receive comprehensive protection throughout the buying, installation and after sales service experience.
Customers can check to establish if their installer is on the HIES national Network of Accredited Installers before placing their order.
 
On the 21st July 2015, HIES received authority from the Chartered Trading Standards Institute to operate its own Approved Consumer Code within the renewable industry.
 
With the approval of the HIES Code of Practice, renewable installers will now only need to be a member of MCS and HIES to comply.
All members of HIES have a minimum 2 year workmanship guarantee.

The HIES Guarantee

This guarantee will be made available by the member to any customer or prospective customer who wishes to inspect the guarantee prior to placing their order.
The Member’s Guarantee will be issued and come into force once payment of all outstanding balances have been received and cleared by the member.
Each Member’s Guarantee may vary a little. Nothing in the guarantee restricts or affects any statutory rights. It will cover all the main components of the installation including the quality of workmanship.
